My JupyterLab instance does not work

It can happen that while accessing your own JupyterLab session you get a

500: Internal Server Error

The following steps allow you to restart your server:

Step 1 Stop the server from your JupyterHub control panel

Start by visiting this link:

https://jupyter.central.data.destination-earth.eu/hub/home

and stop the server by clicking on the red button:

Step 2 Log out from JupyterHub

Find and click on the Logout button in the upper right corner of the JupyterLab window:

Step 3 Clear your browser cache

The procedure for clearing your browser cache will depend on the concrete browser you are using and is, therefore, out of scope of this article.

Step 4 Launch a new server

Now visit this link

https://jupyter.central.data.destination-earth.eu/hub/

and launch the server:
